I have really been searching for some fun St. Patrick's Day ideas. Boy #1 has recently declared that" it's not a very fun holiday, all you do is wear green." Well it's time to make St. Patty's day a fun and exciting day. Love Actually Blog had the cute idea of Terra Cotta pots filled with Rolos to look like little pots of gold. I took it a step further and painted my pots, which were really cheap at Michael's craft store, with chalkboard spray paint. I like how they turned out and that i could write little messages on the pots. on st patricks day at our house we gather with a bunch of friends, have dinner in the park and then lead the kids on a treasure hunt to find dessert - it always goes over quite well :) Love you fun blog ideas
